A Quick Background.
Graduated Marist College
BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
Worked from Sales Rep in 2010, to Strategic Project Manager and Director of Supplier Programming through 2023 at Hunterdon Distributors. Sadly, despite continued profitability even through the 2020 pandemic, in December of 2023 Hunterdon was sold for parts and closed as our parent company made the decision to divest from the NJ market entirely.
From 2015-2019, ran a small nutrition and fitness coaching business ‘Functional Fare’ in addition to coaching fitness classes through 2021.
I love traveling, which is partially why I think the ability to work remotely is a major factor in a highly effective, productive, and efficient workforce. I’ve traveled quite a bit, and my time as a Brand Manager during my tenure at Hunterdon allowed me to to even more of that through the US, the UK and Denmark.I’ve had the opportunity to live abroad in the Netherlands. During college, I was able to study in London, England for a semester and thanks to some luck, continue my stay for some extra time.
I focus on problem solving and finding creative ways to deliver over finger pointing and blame. I believe that people do their best work when they are supported and empowered, not micromanaged and babysat. The best way I can describe what I did as Programming Director is playing tetris. I would take 300+ requests for programming from 30-50 supplier partners and figure out how to fit all of that into a cohesive and strategic 72-90 program calendar year while still delivering for all stakeholders.
